The latest unstable version available of E17 is Enlightenment 0.17.4, while the latest stable version is Enlightenment 0.17.3. Enlightenment is also the default Window Manager of Tizen OS, Samsung & Intel’s operating system created in response to Google’s Android.

In this article I will show you how to install Enlightenment 0.17.4 and Enlightenment 0.17.3 on Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 15 Olivia, Linux Mint 14 Nadia and Linux Mint 13 Maya.

Because both Enlightenment 0.17.4 and Enlightenment 0.17.3 are available via PPAs, installing them on Ubuntu and Linux Mint is easy.
