Hello Firefox OS Enthusiasts. As you may know, EverNav is a turn-by-turn navigation application, specially developed to work on Mozilla’s Firefox OS. Among others, it has the following features: 1-line search, history and favourite sections, support for multi gestures and social network integration.
Telenor Digital, a mobile operator and Firefox OS supporter has included EverNav as default, in the Firefox OS devices released in Serbia and Montenegro.
Despite the fact that EverNav is no available by default on all the Firefox OS phones, it can be easily installed via the Firefox Marketplace.
More information about the EverNav application will be presented by Mozilla at the MWC (Mobile World Congress) in Barcelona, taking place at the end of February, 2014.
It looks like Firefox OS is doing quite well. For now, we know for sure that 2014 will bring ZTE Open C and ZTE Open II, the next two Firefox OS based smartphones developed by the Chinese manufacturer, and Geeksphone Revolution. Also, Mozilla and Foxconn are working together in order to release the first tablets using Firefox OS by default.
For those who don’t know yet, Firefox OS is a new Linux based mobile operating system, built by using the new HTML5 technology by the Mozilla developers. For now, it is used as default on smartphones with modest hardware specs, developed by LG, ZTE, Alcatel and Geeksphone.
