Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, Fedora Utils is a tool that enables the users to easily install multimedia codecs, the Microsoft fonts, Adobe Flash Player, Wine, Java, GTalk, and many others.
Recently, it got renamed into Fedy, due to legal issues, since it cannot contain Fedora in the name. Among others, the latest version available of Fedy (Fedy 3.1.7) comes with fixes for the existent problems occurred when adding repos, the missing symlink for LightTable has been added, the latest Skype version has been added and it got a new icon.
In this article I will show you how to install Fedy 3.1.7 on Fedora 20 and Fedora 19.
$ sudo wget http://satya164.github.io/fedy/fedy-installer -o fedy-installer
$ sudo chmod +x fedy-installer
$ sudo ./fedy-installer
sudo sh -c “wget http://satya164.github.io/fedy/fedy-installer -o fedy-installer && chmod +x fedy-installer && ./fedy-installer”
