Games on Linux: How to Install OpenArena on Ubuntu

Hello Linux Geeksters.

In this article I will show you how to install OpenArena 0.8.8 on Ubuntu 13.04, Ubuntu 12.10 and Ubuntu 12.04. 

OpenArena is a Linux Clone of Quake 3 Arena. It is a classic open source shooter game with support on Linux, so you don’t need wine for running it.

You need only a 900MHZ CPU and 512 MB of RAM for playing OpenArena on your Linux Box.

How to install OpenArena on Ubuntu 13.04 / 12.10 / 12.04:

It is in the default repos, all you have to do is:

$ sudo apt-get install openarena
