Hello Linux Geeksters. The Ubuntu 14.04 wallpaper contest is almost over and most likely this week the default wallpapers of Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr will be chosen.
But there are a lot of beautiful wallpapers that can beautify your desktop, so my recommendation is to get all of them and choose which one you prefer.
You can either download the wallpapers as a tar.gz archive and extrait it in /usr/share/backgrounds.
Or, you can download the deb package created by the atareao team and install it via dpkg:
$ wget https://launchpad.net/~atareao/+archive/atareao/+files/trusty-tahr-wallpaper-contest_0.0.1-0extras14.04.0_all.deb
$ sudo dpkg -i trusty-tahr-wallpaper-contest_0.0.1-0extras14.04.0_all.deb
