How To Easily Install Microsoft’s TrueType Core Fonts (msttcorefonts) On Fedora 20

Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, Microsoft’s TrueType Core Fonts are not available by default on Linux systems, but it can be easily installed. Among the most popular Microsoft fonts, worth mentioning are the following ones: Arial, Comic Sans, Times New Roman, Verdana, Webdings.

In this article I will show you the easiest way for installing Microsoft’s TrueType Core Fonts (msttcorefonts) 2.6.1 on Fedora 20 Heisenbug.

So, all you have to do is:

$ sudo yum install cabextract
$ yum install http://sourceforge.net/projects/mscorefonts2/files/rpms/msttcore-fonts-installer-2.6-1.noarch.rpm
