Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, 2ManDVD is a DVD authoring tool, written on Qt4. It is used to convert video files to DVDs, in order to watch them on TVs. The tool uses the most popular audio and video commandline interface converters, like: ffmpeg, transcode, mencoder, dvdauthor, mjpegtools, dvdautor, et cetera and brings the user an intuitive and simple graphical interface.
In this article I will show you how to install 2ManDVD on Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 15 Olivia, Linux Mint 14 Nadia and Linux Mint 13 Maya.
2ManDVD is available via the GetDeb repository, so installing it is easy. Follow the instructions for your distro and everything will be fine.
How to install 2ManDVD on Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail and Linux Mint 15 Olivia:
$ wget -q -O - http://archive.getdeb.net/getdeb-archive.key | sudo apt-key add -
$ sudo sh -c 'echo "deb http://archive.getdeb.net/ubuntu raring-getdeb apps" >> /etc/apt/sources.list.d/getdeb.list'
$ sudo apt-get update
