Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, Canonical is working hard at developing Ubuntu Touch, the mobile version of the Ubuntu Linux system.
MineSweeper Touch is the classic old MineSweeper game, implemented on Ubuntu Touch, by using the Ubuntu SDK interface.
In this article I will show you how to install and test MineSweeper Touch on Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander and Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail. This installation should also work on Linux Mint 16 Petra and Linux Mint 15 Olivia, since Ubuntu and Linux Mint are 100 % compatible.
Follow these instructions exactly, in order to get a successful installation:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-sdk-team/ppa
$ sudo ppa:ubuntu-touch-coreapps-drivers/collection
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install minesweeper-touch
