As you may know, Nautilus is the default file manager for the Gnome desktop envinroment. Being part of the Gnome 3.10 desktop, Nautilus has also been updated to Nautilus 3.10 Beta 2.

Because it is available via PPA, installing Nautilus 3.10 Beta 2 on Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander and Linux Mint is easy.

All you have to do is add the PPA, update the local repository index and install the nautilus package:

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3-staging
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install nautilus
