Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, Antiviral is a ClamAV interface which provides a simplified way to perform virus scans on Linux systems.
The latest version available is Antiviral 0.2, which has recently received support for Ubuntu 15.04.
In this article I will show you how to install Antiviral 0.2 on Ubuntu 15.04 Vivid Vervet.
Because it is available via PPA, installing Antiviral 0.2 on Ubuntu 15.04 is easy. All you have to do is add the ppa to your system, update the local repository index and install the antiviral package. Like this:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:atareao/atareao
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install antiviral
Optional, to remove antiviral, do:
$ sudo apt-get remove antiviral
