Hello Linux Geeksters. In this article I will show you how to install Ardour 3.2 on Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander, Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 15 Olivia, Linux Mint 14 Nadia and Linux Mint 13 Maya.

Ardour is an open-source processing and multi track recording application, running on Linux and Mac. Ardour 3.2 comes with support for video files, which is awesome. The users can extract, edit and mix audio files from videos. In the industry, the professional users of Ardour use more than one monitor, to see the timeline of a video on one screen and have the audio timeline on another.
To install Ardour 3.2 on Ubuntu and Linux Mint, do this:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kxstudio-team/ppa
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install ardour3
