Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, Boomaga is an open source virtual printer software, having support for the most popular printers, via CUPS and Gutenprint.

Unlike CUPS and Gutenprint which provide drivers for printers, the Boomaga virtual printer enables the users to view the document before printing, adjust the margins of the page, manage the number of documents per page, export the to be printed files as PDFs and others.
The latest version available is Boomaga 0.4.0, which has been recently released. For more information, see the official changelog.
In this article I will show you how to install Boomaga 0.4.0 on Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr, Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 16 Petra, Linux Mint 14 Nadia, Linux Mint 13 Maya and Elementary OS 0.2 Luna.
Because it is available via PPA, installing Boomaga 0.4.0 on the listed Ubuntu, Linux Mint and Elementary OS systems is easy. All you have to do is add the ppa to your system, update the local repository index and install the boomaga package. Like this:
