How To Install CalculusTouch On Ubuntu Touch And Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander

Hello Linux Geeksters. In this article I will show you how to install CalculusTouch on Ubuntu Phone. This probably works also on Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander.

CalculusTouch is a calculator application, allowing the users to calculate math expressions. It calculates expression’s values, derivate, intengrate and limits results, so it is good to “cheat in schools”.

To install Calculus Touch on Ubuntu Phone and Ubuntu Saucy, do:

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:canonical-qt5-edgers/qt5-proper
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-sdk-team/ppa
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:dinko-metalac/calculustouch-ppa
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install ubuntu-sdk calculus-touch

To launch the app, type this in your terminal:

$ /usr/share/CalculusTouch/CalculusTouch
