Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, Calligra Suite is a free Office Suite application, similar to LibreOffice, developed and added by default to the KDE desktop environment. The latest version available is Calligra 2.7.5, which has been released yesterday.

For a full list of changes and improvements, see the official changelog.
In this article I will show you how to install Calligra Suite 2.7.5 on Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 16 Petra, Linux Mint 13 Maya and Elementary OS 0.2 Luna.
Because it is available via PPA, installing Calligra Suite 2.7.5 on the listed Ubuntu, Linux Mint and Elementary OS systems is easy. All you have to do is add the ppa to your system, update the local repository index and install the calligra package. Like this:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kubuntu-ppa/backports
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install calligra
