finding & installing downloaded programs needs to be explained more simply for new Linux users. We all have to start somewhere.
I have only just started using Linux mint. I never had anything to with this OS before so when I download a program etc, I don’t know where to find them or install them.
I recently downloaded Cinelerra 4.5 but don’t know how to install it. I looked up how to install it but all the replies were aimed at the professional users. I think it needs to be simple step by step explanations for the beginners.
