In this article I will show you how to install Linux Mint’s Cinnamon Desktop Environment on Fedora 17, Beefy Miracle.
Cinnamon is available in the Fedora repos, so it is easy to install:
$ sudo yum install cinnamon cinnamon-session cinnamon-settings
To switch to Cinnamon, reboot and choose Cinnamon at startup, from the grafical menu.
