Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, Diodon is a lightweight clipboard manager for Gnome and Unity, with an indicator support. Diodon 1.0.3 has been released recently, bringing a few new features, to the previous version, Diodon 1.0.2.
I like it because it is capable of storring a clipboard-history, that is easily accessible by pressing Ctrl + Alt + V. The user can also customize the clipboard size or change the key combination for the clipboard-history panel.
In this article I will show you how to install Diodon 1.0.3 on Ubuntu 13.04 Saucy Salamander, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal and Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin.
Only Diodon 1.0.2 is available in the default repositories of Ubuntu, but do not worry, there is a PPA with Diodon 1.0.3, so installing it is easy:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:diodon-team/stable
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install diodon
To start Diodon, just type the application’s name in the Unity Dash:
