Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, Esmska is a software that allows the users to send SMS messages over the Internet, by using web gateways. The latest version available is Esmska 1.7, which has been released a while ago.

In this article I will show you how to instal Esmska 1.7 on Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Pinguy OS, Elementary OS, LXLE, Debian, Crunchbang, Kwheezy, Fedora, CentOS, OpenSUSE, Mageia, OpenMandriva and other deb/rpm based systems.
Because it is not available via any repository, we have to download the esmska 17 deb/rpm package and install them via command-line. Follow the intructions for your system exactly, in order to get a successful installation.
How to install Esmska 1.7 on both 32 bit and 64 bit Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Pinguy OS, Elementary OS, LXLE, Debian, Crunchbang, Kwheezy systems:
$ sudo apt-get install gdebi
$ wget download.opensuse.org/repositories/Java:/esmska/common-deb/all/esmska_1.7-1_all.deb
$ sudo gdebi esmska_1.7-1_all.deb
How to install Esmska 1.7 on both 32 bit and 64 bit Fedora, CentOS, OpenSUSE, Mageia and OpenMandriva systems:
$ wget download.opensuse.org/repositories/Java:/esmska/common/src/esmska-1.7-1.1.src.rpm
$ sudo rpm -i esmska-1.7-1.1.src.rpm
