Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, Everpad is an unofficial Evernote client, that integrates well with Unity, but it works well also with KDE and Gnome. The latest version available is Everpad 2.5.6, which has been recently released, bringing support for Ubuntu 13.10 and Linux Mint 16.
In this article I will show you how to install Everpad 2.5.6 on Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander, Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 16 Petra, Linux Mint 15 Olivia, Linux Mint 14 Nadia, Linux Mint 13 Maya, Pear OS 8, Pear OS 7 and Elementary OS 0.2 Luna.
Because it is available via PPA, installing Everpad 2.5.6 on the listed Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Pear OS and Elementary OS systems is easy. All you have to do is add the PPA to your system, update the local repository index and install the everpad package. Like this:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:nvbn-rm/ppa
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install everpad
