Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, Evolution is a Linux email client, for the Gnome desktop.
The latest Evolution version available, Evolution 3.9.4 comes with some new features and improvements. For a full list of fixes, see the changelog.
In this article I will show you how to install Evolution 3.9.4 on Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail and Linux Mint 15 Olivia. Because it is available via PPA, installing Evolution 3.9.4 on Ubuntu and Linux Mint is easy, all you have to do is:
Add the PPA:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:fta/gnome3
Update the repo index:
$ sudo apt-get update
Install Evolution 3.9.4 on Ubuntu and Linux Mint:
$ sudo apt-get install evolution
