Hello Linux Geeksters. In this article I will show you how to install Ezame on Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail.

Ezame is a nice app that allows users to create menu entries and application launchers. Basicly, Ezame creates .desktop files, letting the users to choose the icon, category, command, comment et cetera. Another awesome feature of Ezame is that it allows you to show/not show the launcher in certain desktop environments. (photo credit)
It has support for both Unity and Cinnamon. To use it with Cinnamon, go to Edit -> Preferences and choose Classic instead of Ubuntu.
To install Ezame on Ubuntu 13.04, use the following instructions. You can also install it on Linux Mint 15 Olivia with Cinnamon, to edit menu entries, if you like:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:caldas-lopes/ppa
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install ezame
