Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, FileZilla is a popular FTP client, working on both Windows and Linux. The latest version available is FileZilla 18.104.22.168. I have previously written this article on how to install FileZilla 22.214.171.124 on Ubuntu and Linux Mint, but the app was not available via PPA, so we had to install it from sources.
In this article I will show you how to install FileZilla 126.96.36.199 on Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal, Linux Mint 15 Olivia and Linux Mint 14 Nadia, via PPA.
Because FileZilla 188.8.131.52 is now available via PPA, installing it on Ubuntu and Linux Mint is easy, just do:
$ sudo add-apt-repository muench/programs-ppa
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install filezilla
