Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, FinalTerm is a powerful terminal emulator, bringing many out of the box features. Some features worth mentioning: inteligent command completion, good repositioning of text after window resizing, good desktop integration with Unity.
The latest version available is FinalTerm 0.1.0, which has been recently released. For more information, see the project’s blog.
In this article I will show you how to install FinalTerm 0.1.0 on Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 16 Petra, Linux Mint 14 Nadia, Linux Mint 13 Maya and Elementary OS 0.2 Luna.
Because it is available via PPA, installing FinalTerm 0.1.0n the listed Ubuntu, Linux Mint and Elementary OS systems is easy. All you have to do is add the ppa to your system, update the local repository index and install the finalterm package. Like this:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:finalterm/daily
