Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, Fotoxx is an open source photo editing program, working on Linux. It has support for the most important image formats, including JPEG, BMP, PNG, TIFF and RAW. Fotoxx is mostly used for cropping, resizing or retouching photos, without using layers, like Photoshop. The latest version available is Fotoxx 13.09.2, which has been released a few days. For a list of features and changes, see release notes.

In this article I will show you how to install Fotoxx 13.09.2 on Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander, Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 16 Petra, Linux Mint 15 Olivia, Linux Mint 14 Nadia, Linux Mint 13 Maya, Elementary OS 0.2 Luna, Debian Sid, Debian Jessie, Debian Wheezy and Debian Squeeze.
