Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, FrostWire is a free, open-source, cross-platform BitTorrent application, running on Linux, Mac OS X and Windows. The latest version available is FrostWire 5.6.5, which has been released recently.
FrostWire 5.6.5 comes with big improvemenets. See the changelog for more information.
In this article I will show you how to install FrostWire 5.6.5 on Fedora 19, Fedora 18, Fedora 17 and CentOS 6.
Because it is not available via any repository (or at least not yet), we have to download Frostwire 5.6.5 from the official site, in order to install it on Fedora and CentOS. Like this:
$ wget -c http://dl.frostwire.com/frostwire/5.6.5/frostwire-5.6.5.noarch.rpm
$ sudo rpm -i frostwire-5.6.5.noarch.rpm
