The latest version available is Giada 0.8.3, which has been recently released, bringing new features and enhancements. For a full list of changes, see the official changelog.

In this article I will show you how to install Giada 0.8.3 on Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Elementary OS, Debian, Crunchbang and KWheezy.

Giada 0.8.3, is not available via PPA, but it can be downloaded from the official site and installed by hand. Just download the deb package for your Linux system and architecture and install it with dpkg -i.

How to install Giada 0.8.3 on 32 bit Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Debian, Crunchbang, KWheezy and Elementary OS systems:

$ wget -c www.giadamusic.com/download-action.php?os=linux-32
$ tar -xzvf giada-0.8.3-lin-i386.tar.gz
$ sudo dpkg -i giada_0.8.3_0_i386.deb

How to install Giada 0.8.3 on 64 bit Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Debian, Crunchbang, KWheezy and Elementary OS systems:

$ wget -c www.giadamusic.com/download-action.php?os=linux-64
$ tar -xzvf giada-0.8.3-lin-amd64.tar.gz
$ sudo dpkg -i giada_0.8.3_0_amd64.deb
