Gnome 3.8.2 and Extensions is available for down
load and installation on Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, via PPA.
As you may know, Gnome is a very popular desktop environment among the Ubuntu users.
If you want to try it on your Ubuntu Raring, do this:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3-staging
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install gnome-shell gnome-shell-extensions gnome-tweak-tool
To install the full Gnome desktop environment, do:
$ sudo apt-get install gnome
