Hello Linux Geeksters. In this article I will show you how to install HotShots on Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 15 Olivia, Linux Mint 14 Nadia and Linux Mint 13 Maya.

As you may already know, HotShots is a lightweight screenshot tool with editing options. It is a lighter alternative to Shutter.

how to install HotShots on Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 15 Olivia, Linux Mint 14 Nadia and Linux Mint 13 Maya

This is how you install HotShots on Ubuntu and Linux Mint:

Add the PPA:

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:dhor/myway

Update the local repositories:

$ sudo apt-get update

Install HotShots:

$ sudo apt-get install hotshots
