LeachCraft is an internet application that allows people to navigate on the net, instant chat with friends, read Feeds, view documents, listen to music, play stream podcasts, download via BitTorrent and much more.
It is a modular system so you have to install different modules, in order to customize it and use only what you need.
Basicly it is an all in one program that allows you to do all your internet work from one place.
In this article I will show you how to install LeechCraft on Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 15 Olivia, Linux Mint 14 Nadia and Linux Mint 13 Maya.
There are two different PPAs for Leechcraft, one with the stable versions of the program and one with the unstable ones:
How to install the stable versions of Leechcraft on Ubuntu and Linux Mint:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tehnick/leechcraft-stable
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install leechcraft
How to install the unstable versions of Leechcraft on Ubuntu and Linux Mint:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tehnick/leechcraft-unstable
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install leechcraft
To start the program, write leechcraft in your Unity’s Dash:
