Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, LibreOffice 3.6.7 RC2 has been released a while ago, with a few improvements since the previous release candidate. In this article I will show you how to install LibreOffice 3.6.7 RC2 on Fedora 19, Fedora 18, Fedora 17, OpenSUSE 13.1, OpenSUSE 12.3, OpenSUSE 12.2, Mageia 3, CentOS 6 and other rpm based distros.

It is not available via PPA, so we have to download the archive from the official site, extract it and install the rpm files.

Instructions for 32 bit systems:

$ wget -c download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/testing/3.6.7/rpm/x86/LibO_3.6.7.2_Linux_x86_install-rpm_en-US.tar.gz
$ tar -xzvf LibO_3.6.7.2_Linux_x86_install-rpm_en-US.tar.gz
$ cd LibO_3.6.7.2_Linux_x86_install-rpm_en-US/RPMS
$ sudo rpm -i *.rpm
$ cd desktop-integration
$ sudo rpm -i *.rpm

Instructions for 64 bit systems:

$ wget -c download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/testing/3.6.7/rpm/x86_64/LibO_3.6.7.2_Linux_x86-64_install-rpm_en-US.tar.gz
$ tar -xzvf LibO_3.6.7.2_Linux_x86-64_install-rpm_en-US.tar.gz
$ cd LibO_3.6.7.2_Linux_x86-64_install-rpm_en-US/RPMS
$ sudo rpm -i *.rpm
$ cd desktop-integration
$ sudo rpm -i *.rpm
