Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, LibreOffice is the most popular open-source office suite, available for Linux, Windows and Mac OS X. The latest version available is LibreOffice 4.3.3, which has been released a while ago. Among others, it comes with OOXML graphics improvements, the users are now able to insert comments on margins f documents and importing or exporting nested comments in ODF, DOC, OOXML and RTF files and an impressive number of bug-fixes.

In this article I will show you how to install LibreOffice 4.3.3 on Ubuntu 14.10 Utopic Unicorn, Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 17.1 Rebecca, Linux Mint 17 Qiana, Linux Mint 13 Maya, Pinguy OS 14.04, Elementary OS 0.3 Freya, Elementary OS 0.2 Luna, Peppermint Five, Deepin 2014, LXLE 14.04, Linux Lite 2.0, Debian 8 Jessie, Debian 7 Wheezy and other Ubuntu and Debian derivative systems.
To install LibreOffice 4.3.3 on Ubuntu, Debian and derivative systems, we have to remove the current libreoffice version, download the archive containing the libreoffice packages from the official site, extract the archive and install the deb packages inside. Optional, to remove LibreOffice 4.3.3 from either Ubuntu, Debian or a derivative system, do:
