Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, LongoMatch is a sport video analysis tool for coaches and sports enthusiasts. The latest version available is LongoMatch 0.18.16 “Amsterdam”, which has been released a about 20 hours ago. It brings just a few changes and improvements to the previous version. In this article I will show you how to install LongoMatch 0.18.16 “Amsterdam” on Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 15 Olivia, Linux Mint 14 Nadia, Linux Mint 13 Maya and Elementary OS 0.2 Luna.Because it is available via PPA, installing LongoMatch 0.18.6 “Amsterdam” on Ubuntu, Linux Mint and Elementary OS is easy. All you have to do is add the needed ppas, update the local repository index and install the longomatch package. Like this:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ylatuya/ppa
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gstreamer-developers/ppa
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install longomatch
