Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, the forth beta version of Mozilla Firefox 23 has been released yesterday. For a full list of improvements and fixes, see the official release note.
In this article I will show you how to install Mozilla Firefox 23 Beta 4 on Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 15 Olivia, Linux Mint 14 Nadia and Linux Mint 13 Maya.
Because it is available via the ppa:mozillateam/firefox-next PPA, it can be easily installed on Ubuntu and Linux Mint. All you have to do is:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mozillateam/firefox-next
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install firefox
To use Firefox 23 Beta 4 on other Linux systems, you have to download the archive for your computer’s architecture, extract it, set execution permissions and run the Firefox binaries.
