Hello Linux Geeksters. Nuvola Player is an open source player, written in Vala and Java script. It has support for the most popular music services, like Amazon Cloud Player, 8tracks, Google Play Music, Grooveshark, Pandora, Rdio and many others. The latest version available is Nuvola Player 2.1 Beta 1. For a full list improvements, see this link.

In this article I will show you how to install Nuvola Player 2.1 Beta 1 on Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 15 Olivia, Linux Mint 14 Nadia and Linux Mint 13 Maya.
Because it is available via PPA, installing Nuvola Player 2.1 Beta 1 on Ubuntu and Linux Mint is easy. All you have to do is:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:nuvola-player-builders/beta
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install nuvolaplayer
