As you may know, Ocenaudio is an open-source,  cross-platform audio file editor based on the Ocen Framework, enabling the users to add effects only on some certain parts of a file and having an advanced memory management system. The latest version available is Ocenaudio 2.0.7, which has been released a while ago.

In this article I will show you how to install Ocenaudio 2.0.7 on Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Pinguy OS, Elementary OS, LXLE, Peppermint, Deepin, Linux Lite, Debian, Kwheezy, SparkyLinux, Fedora, CentOS, OpenSUSE, Mageia and OpenMandriva.

Because it is not available via any repository, we have to download the deb/rpm package from the project’s site and install it via the default package manager. Follow the instructions for your system and architecture exactly, in order to get a successful installation.

How to install Ocenaudio 2.0.7 on Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Pinguy OS, Elementary OS, LXLE, Peppermint, Deepin, Linux Lite, Debian and Kwheezy systems:

Instructions for 32 bit systems:

$ sudo apt-get install gdebi
$ wget http://www.ocenaudio.com.br/downloads/ocenaudio64.deb? -O ocenaudio.deb
$ sudo gdebi ocenaudio.deb

Instructions for 64 bit systems:

$ sudo apt-get install gdebi

Optional, to remove Ocenaudio from both 32 bit and 64 bit versions of Ubuntu, Debian and derivatives, do:

$ sudo yum localinstall ocenaudio.deb

Instructions for 64 bit systems:

$ wget http://www.ocenaudio.com.br/downloads/ocenaudio64.rpm? -O ocenaudio.rpm
$ sudo yum localinstall ocenaudio.deb

Optional, to remove Ocenaudio from both 32 bit and 64 bit versions of CentOS and Fedora, do:
