How To Install Polly 0.93.10 (Twitter Client) On Ubuntu And Linux Mint

Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, Polly is a Twitter client, working on Linux Systems. It is nice because it has multiple account support and updates in real time.

Polly is still under development, the latest version available is Polly 0.93.10 (pre-alpha 3.10). In this article I will show you how to install Polly, the Twitter client on Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander, Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 16 Petra, Linux Mint 15 Olivia, Linux Mint 14 Nadia and Linux Mint 13 Maya.

There is a PPA available, so for installing Polly on Ubuntu and Linux Mint, do:

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:conscioususer/polly-unstable
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install polly

If you like bleeding edge technology, you can add Polly’s daily builds PPA:  ppa:conscioususer/polly-daily
