Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, Polly is a Twitter client, working on Linux Systems. It is nice because it has multiple account support and updates in real time. The latest version available is Polly 0.93.11, which has been released yesterday. For more information about the improvemenets brought by the latest Polly version, see the changelog.
In this article I will show you how to install Polly 0.93.11 on Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr, Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander, Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 16 Petra, Linux Mint 15 Olivia, Linux Mint 14 Nadia, Linux Mint 13 Maya, Pear OS 8, Pear OS 7 and Elementary OS 0.2 Luna.
Because it is available via PPA, installing Polly 0.93.11 on Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Pear OS and Elementary OS is easy. All you have to do is add the ppa to your system, update the local repository index and install the polly package. Like this:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:conscioususer/polly-daily
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install polly
