Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, the Atareao team has created an app called Power Commands, that enables the users to easily turn off, reboot, suspend, hibernate, log out and block, via the Unity Dash.
In this article I will show you how to install Power Commands 0.1.5 on Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr, Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal and Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin.
Because it is available via PPA, installing Power Commands 0.1.5 on the listed Ubuntu, Linux Mint and Elementary OS systems is easy. All you have to do is add the ppa to your system, update the local repository index and install the power-commands package. Like this:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:atareao/atareao
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install power-commands
