Hello Linux Geeksters. RPhoto is a lightweight open source and multiplatform image viewer and editor, working on Linux and Windows. It is lightweight, allowing the user to rotate, resize, and crop photos, by avoiding the annoying and unwanted white borders.
The latest version available is RPhoto 0.4.3, which has been released in June 2013. For more information, see the official page.
In this article I will show you how to install RPhoto 0.4.3 on Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail and Linux Mint 15 Olivia.
Because it is available via PPA, installing RPhoto 0.4.3 on Ubuntu and Linux Mint is easy. All you have to do is:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:dhor/myway
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install rphoto
