In this article I will show you how to install RSSOwl, on Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 15 Olivia, Linux Mint 14 Nadia and Linux Mint 13 Maya.

Because RSSowl 2.2 is available in the GetDeb repository, installint it is easy. Just open a terminal and do the following:

Download the GetDeb repository file and install it, on Ubuntu and Linux Mint:

$ sudo wget -c http://archive.getdeb.net/install_deb/getdeb-repository_0.1-1~getdeb1_all.deb
$ sudo dpkg -i getdeb-repository_0.1-1~getdeb1_all.deb

Update the repository index and install rssowl on Ubuntu and Linux Mint:

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install rssowl
