How To Install Rubyripper on Ubuntu 13.04, 12.10, 12.04, 10.04 And Linux Mint 15, 14, 13

Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, Rubyripper is an audio music ripper, using cdparanoia for correcting errors.http://nfgk.files.wordpress.com/2013/07/rr.png?w=450In this article I will show you how to install Rubyripper on Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx, Linux Mint 15 Olivia, Linux Mint 14 Nadia and Linux Mint 13 Maya.

Because it is available via the GetDeb repository, installing Rubyripper on Ubuntu and Linux Mint is easy, just follow these steps, for a successful installation:

1. Add the GetDeb PPA and its key:

$ wget http://archive.getdeb.net/install_deb/getdeb-repository_0.1-1~getdeb1_all.deb
$ sudo dpkg -i getdeb-repository_0.1-1~getdeb1_all.deb

2. Update the local repositories:

# apt-get update

3. Install Rubyripper on Ubuntu and Linux Mint:

# apt-get install rubyripper
