Hello Linux Geeksters. As the name suggests, Skype Call Recorder is an open-source app that enables the users to record Skype calls. As output files, it has support for mp3, ogg and many other popular audio file formats. The latest version available is Skype Call Recorder 0.10, which comes with improvements and features, including a new AppIndicator for Ubuntu systems, improved handling of keyboard shortcuts.
In this article I will show you how to install Skype Call Recorder 0.10 on Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Linux Mint 15 Olivia and Pear OS 8.
There is no repository available for Skype Call Recorder 0.10, but we can download the deb package and install it with dpkg, on Ubuntu 13.04, Linux Mint 15 and Pear OS 8. Follow the instructions for your architecture exactly, in order to get a successful installation:
