As you may know, sView is an open-source stereoscopic viewer, capable of reproducing 3D videos and images. sView has support for 3D grasses, in order to offer the user a better stereoscopic sensation. sView has all the basic features of a normal video player. The latest stable version available is sView 13.06.8.
In this article I will show you how to install sViewPlayer 13.06.8 on Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 15 Olivia, Linux Mint 14 Nadia, Linux Mint 13 Maya and Elementary OS 0.2 Luna.
Because it is available via PPA, installing sView 13.06.08 on Ubuntu, Linux Mint and Elementary OS is easy. Follow the above instructions in order to get a successful installation:
Add the repository:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:sview/stable
Update the local repository index:
$ sudo apt-get update
Install sViewPlayer 13.06.8:
$ sudo apt-get install sview
