Hello Linux Geeksters. In this article I will show you how to install the default theme and icons of Linux Mint 16 Petra on Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander. Both the icons and theme are compatible with Unity, Gnome Shell, XFCE, Cinnamon and Mate.
Since the icons and and the theme are available via different repositories, we have to add the both repositories to our system, update the local repository index and install the lmint-theme and l-mint-icons packages. Like this:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:noobslab/themes
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:noobslab/icons
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install lmint-theme lmint-icons
