As you may know, the Moka icon theme is an open-source set of pretty icons, based on the Faenza icons. The Moka icons includes some icons for some popular web aplications, like Youtube, Twitter, Spotify, Google Play and many others.
The Moka icons come in two flavours, dark and normal. The icons integrate well with Unity, but they are also compatible with Gnome Shell, XFCE, LXDE, Cinnamon and Mate. The latest version available is Moka 0.9, bringing icons for the following apps: Inkscape, Wunderlist, Transmission, GitHub, Anki, Glade and many others.
In this article I will show you how to install the Moka 0.9 Icon Theme on Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander, Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 16 Petra, Linux Mint 15 Olivia, Linux Mint 14 Nadia, Linux Mint 13 Maya and Elementary OS 0.2 Luna.
Because it is available via PPA, installing the Moka 0.9 Icon Theme on Ubuntu, Linux Mint and Elementary OS is easy. All you have to do is add the ppa, update the local repository index and install the moka-icon-theme package. Like this:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:snwh/moka-icon-theme-daily
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install moka-icon-theme moka-icon-theme-dark
