Hello Linux Geeksters. If you are an XFCE user and prefer to upload your stuff on Dropbox, the Thunar Dropbox Plugin is ideal for you. For those who don’t know, Thunar is t he default file manager on the XFCE Desktop Environment.
In this article I will show you how to install the Thunar Dropbox Plugin on Xubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Xubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal and Xubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin.
Because it is available via PPA, installing Thunar Dropbox Plugin on Ubuntu is easy. All you have to do is add the ppa, update the local repository index and install the thunar-dropbox package:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:rebuntu16/other-stuff
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install thunar-dropbox
