Hello Linux Geeksters. In this article I will show you how to install Tomahawk 0.7 on Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander, Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 15 Olivia, Linux Mint 14 Nadia and Linux Mint 13 Maya.
Tomahawk is an unique music player that unifies music sources like Spotify, SoundCloud, Rdio, Youtube and others to make listening to music easier.
Tomahawk, like iTunes or Winamp, can play the music from your local computer. But with some plugins, it is capable of searching for your favourite music, on the music sites/sources I have just mentioned two lines up.
To install it on Ubuntu and Linux Mint, do this:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tomahawk/ppa
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install tomahawk
