Torrent Search is a nice application that searches for your desired file in a big torrent database and downloads your torrent. To install it on Ubuntu and Linux Mint, do:

$ wget http://sourceforge.net/projects/torrent-search/files/torrent-search/0.11.2/torrent-search_0.11.2_all.deb/download -O torrent-search.deb
$ sudo dpkg -i torrent-search.deb
$ sudo apt-get install -f
