Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, Turpial 3 is an open source Twitter client built with the QT libraries. Among others, it comes with support for multi-accounts which enabling the users to use multiple Twitter accounts simultaneously in the same window, a function for setting the refresh rate and filters, to eliminate the tweets you don’t want to see in the timeline. In this article I will show you how to install Turpial 3 on Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander and Linux Mint 16 Petra.
Because it is available via PPA, installing Turpial 3 on the latest versions available of Ubuntu and Linux Mint is easy. All you have to do is add the ppa to your system, update the local repository index and install the turpial package. Like this:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:effie-jayx/turpial
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install turpial
