Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, Tux Paint is a simple open-source drawing program, similar with the Windows Paint. It is extensible, new brushes and rubber stamps can be added.

In this article I will show you how to install Tux Paint on Debian Sid, Debian Wheezy, Debian Squeeze, Fedora 19, Fedora 18, Fedora 17, OpenSUSE 13.1, OpenSUSE 12.3, OpenSUSE 12.2, Mageia 3 and Mageia 2.
Because it is available in the default repositories, on all the listed systems, installing Tux Paint is easy.
How To Install Tux Paint on Debian Sid, Debian Wheezy and Debian Squeeze:
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install tuxpaint
How To Install Tux Paint on Fedora 19, Fedora 18 and Fedora 17:
$ sudo yum update
$ sudo yum install tuxpaint
How To Install Tux Paint on OpenSUSE 13.1, OpenSUSE 12.3 and OpenSUSE 12.2:
$ sudo zypper ref
$ sudo zypper in tuxpaint
How To Install Tux Paint on Mageia 3 and Mageia 2:
# urpmi.update -a
# urpmi tuxpaint
